Cabin Crew Explorer

  Cabin Crew Explorer

If you’ve always thought that you’d like a career working for an airline either in the air as a member of the cabin crew or on the ground, then this two week course is for you. Cabin Crew Explorer gives you a taste of what it might be like if you got such a job.

Airlines are looking for new staff all the time but competition for jobs is fierce. This course will help you understand what airlines are looking for and how you measure up. You’ll gain knowledge about how and when airlines hire staff and what to expect in job selection processes, as well as learning about the sort of skills and knowledge you need to work in these roles.

By completing the Cabin Crew Explorer course, you will:

  • Complete an on-line e-learning programme covering essential cabin crew knowledge as endorsed by major international airlines.
  • Gain your first aid certificate as required for all cabin crew staff.
  • Understand the basics of beverage service.
  • Recognise how you measure up to common airline requirements for physical capabilities in cabin crew staff.
  • Receive advice on how to apply for airline jobs, how to present yourself well, and how to deal with interviews and other selection processes.
  • Have an individual profile, including a tailored CV and photographs, which you can use when applying for jobs.
  • See and hear what it’s actually like to work in airline roles through hearing from speakers and by visiting the airport.
  • Achieve a realistic idea of whether the airline industry is for you, whether you are for it, and a realistic plan for getting you there.
