going places is a tourism and business training college, established in 2001, in Christchurch, New Zealand.

We specialise in training for the tourism & travel industry and the associated fields of customer service & sales, information technology, and business.

going places is registered and accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).

Our International College of Tourism & Business offers courses to international students wishing to pursue tourism & business studies in New Zealand.

We are a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students and a member of Education Christchurch.

Our primary goal is the development of talent for New Zealand's and the world's largest industry: tourism.

Our primary concern is student success.

Specifically, we want to help students achieve their aspirations of the career of their choice in tourism or a related field, through helping them to develop the knowledge and skills they need, as well as the confidence, opportunity, and experience to succeed.

At the same time, we want to contribute to the development of New Zealand's travel & tourism industry through the development of new and existing talent.

We concentrate mainly on the Christchurch & Canterbury area but with wider regional, national, and international perspectives.
